*repost* cannot connect to google

Hi,

I can connect to any other website but Google. If I keep hitting the reload button I will eventually connect, but only for a short time(like a couple of mins.).

I have reloaded the OS and still not working.

Macbook Pro 2007, Snow Leapord.

If you haven't already done so, try changing your DNS servers on your Mac and your router to OpenDNS servers. This will show you how: Why am I being redirected to other sites?

Just tried the DNS numbers you mentioned, no luck. Whats really strange is that I can sometimes connect to Google.

Did you check DNS settings in both your Mac and your router? Also, check to see if you have any ad blockers or browser add-ons or extensions that may be interfering.

I only tried changing the DNS numbers on the laptop, not the router. My Ipad connects to google, no problem.

edit.. I have not added any software when I started having the problem, no add-ons or extentions.
