What can't you get to work? Do you not see the button or does it just not open desktop site? It will not work on all websites because they don't have to let you to the desktop site. But it should work on most websites.

Ah, I've only tried it on one website. Perhaps it's one that doesn't allow it. I touch the web addess box, pull down the screen and nothing happens.

Most responsive websites won't work with this button because they are automatically scaled down with media queries due to the screen size

If it doesn't work, it's because of the website ignoring the user agent and still sending the mobile style sheet. Are you sure you are pulling down properly on the top? worked for me on the websites I tried it on :)

Using Chrome on an Android device, requesting a desktop site works 100% of the time. It's a bit lame that Safari on the iPhone can't seem to work consistently.

The option should always be there as far as I recall, it's just that it might not actually work on all sites depending on their design.

I wish there was a always open desktop version button.
It's basically threre now.
