iTunes 12.3.1.23, OS X 10.9.5

So, this dialogue keeps appearing after I enter my password for the iTunes Store:

"Require password for additional purchases on this computer?"
"Require After 15 Minutes" "Always Require"

I'd already modified this setting in the preferences, and chosen "Always Require", yet it appeared not long after. Whenever it pops up I again tap, "Always Require". And yet it keeps appearing…

Help.

I believe you need to go into your account profile and change the setting there in order for it to stick. Otherwise it will nag you every time you purchase something.

I'm assuming you mean the Account Information screen in iTunes. I've checked there, and I can find no option with respect to this dialogue.

The available options are:

• Apple ID Summary
• iTunes in the Cloud
- Manage Devices
- Hidden Purchases
- iTunes Match
• Purchase History
• Settings
- Nickname
- Reviews and Ratings
- Alert Me
- Recommendations
- Subscriptions
- Allowances
• Reset All Warnings for Buying and Downloading

The last option only has a single button marked, "Reset".

Does this every time I update apps. Have to click through up to 50 of them depending on how many need updating.

*Sigh* I don't care what anyone else may say, I'm definitely seeing a decline in Apple's software quality. Perhaps it's just a temporary glitch, but I'm slowly yet actively looking for a reliable Linux-based alternative (and I'm not trolling). It's always the hardware compatibility that lets Linux down IME, though, which is why I haven't jumped ship quite yet…

I get the same annoyance... AND... every time I open iTunes I'm prompted to re-enter my password, twice, since my "session has expired". This has been going on for about 1 month or so.

I FINALLY found the solution to this in case anyone else has been harassed by constant iTunes popups when updating. For whatever reason, my laptop wasn't considered 'authorized' in iTunes. Clicking on 'store' then 'authorize this computer' and putting in your iTunes password should make it so you're not constantly prompted to pick whether to set a password delay every 15 minutes or not.

Cool thanks.
Actually I went from typing in my password an abusive amount of times to... never. Don't ask me how this happened. Apple magic? :D Even when updating apps from dTuned, euh I meant iTunes I'm no longer required to type it o_O
