I have always had the "Require password to wake this computer from sleep or screen saver" checked. Just now I returned to my MacBook, the screensaver had come on after the 3 minute time limit I have set, and "moved" the mouse(Logitech V270) expecting to get the login screen requiring my username and password, as usual. Instead the screen saver just deactivated, giving "access" to my machine, without requiring login.
To my surprise, when I checked system preferences > security > general I found that the aforementioned "Require password" option was now unchecked.
Is there anyone who can give me a detailed explanation of how "Require password" was changed without my permission? Just to change it back I had to UNLOCK by entering an "admin" username and password.
I was, when this occurred, using the "standard" account that I virtually always use.
