Hi guys,

Im currently living and working in the U.S. but will be heading back to Ireland at the end of september. I'm hoping to purchase the new iPhone when it comes out and then pay the etf on the contract. But my question is what is required for a contract with at&t? Social security number etc? Also do people know since I am not a permanent resident and only here on a working visa will at&t be able to sell me a contract phone?

Thanks

Billing information in regards to the contract plan, the last 4 digits of the SSN of the contract holder, and a credit card/form of ID ... any of these may be asked of you (and of course stupid facts like the cell phone #).

Thats perfect just wasnt sure if i'd be asked for anything else. I have a U.S. credit card and have my ssn so thats perfect.
Thanks

Yea ... beyond common information such as billing address, it's REALLY easy to setup a contract ... the system was simplified after years of iPhone launches, whereby the demand on release day was overwhelming.

Definitely have an American CC and your SSN on hand, as well as your old phone, SIM and number if you want that transfered.
