I have a late 2011 iMac 27" 3.4ghz i7, 1TB HDD, 12GB RAM, with about 15 months left on Applecare.

Am considering upgrading to a new one and putting this on Craigslist. What would be a fair resale price for this?

I would say.....

$1300-$1450. Good care of the machine, no cosmetic or functional issues and the remaining AppleCare can help in the price.

If going online (no CL) factor shipping costs and fees.

As a starting point, you can check Mac2Sell, eBay (including completed sales), or Amazon for prices of similar models, to get an idea of what a reasonable price may be. Then adjust the price to account for condition, configuration, remaining AppleCare coverage (if any), etc.

Thanks. The Mac2Sell site has some good info.
