Is there an application or something that would scale my mac osx to more than 1024x768 on my internal iBook G4 display(I run Leopard) even though my display hardware resolution would stay the same (1024x768)? I got the idea from watching a video on youtube where a guy is loading Widows XP on his iPhone through ParallelDesktop. I thought if iPhone has only about 300x400 pixels and it does run XP as a full display. The picture is just resized to a small display.

That would kill the usability of the OS. Text would often be hard to read. I wish there was a hack too, but this is more of a hardware limitation.

Everything would be blurred/out of focus. Wouldn't be sharp at all, and would look dreadful.

Try it, take a screenshot, then resize it up to 1280x1024.

Out of Focus

Picture will be out of focus you say, you have a real point there. I do not want to do this mod anymore. Although it was good if such a mod existed. I better get an external monitor with higher resolution.
