I just installed the latest version of OSX 10.6.4. Upon reboot, log me in rescue started up a session. Strange, it has never done so before. So, looked into startup items in sys prefs and there is an app named "RescueRobotHelper" in the list. Right click to show in finder, and it is in a grayed-out folder on my hard drive
>private>var>tmp>LogMeInRescue -09CF>Rescue>Contents>RescueRobotHelper
Is this installed when I use LogMein? Yesterday I used it with a friend to help me get a special app (Putty) running so I can access my files at work. I thought logmein deleted all it files after completion.
Or, is this some nefarious install from, say, my uber-geek son or other source.
PS. It is not visible doing a spotlight search, so that raised my suspicions as well as being in a hidden folder.
