Looking to sell my late-2011 MBP 15-inch. I have updated it with El Captain and I was wondering after I boot CMD-R and erase the hard drive, when I then choose reinstall OS what version will load???

OS X Recovery (Command-R) installs the version of OS X that was last installed on your Mac. OS X Internet Recovery (Command-Option-R) installs the version that originally came with your Mac. Just did the latter with my mid-2012 rMBP last weekend. Cheers!

Thank you for the reply....... that's great. Gonna wait for the new ones new month(?) and then sell this baby.

Another question: I have my iPhone iOS 10 and current MBP connected to igloos and keychains enabled. When I get a new MBP will the keychains sync back to the new mac after I login to iCloud?
