Resell Value?

So I currently have a 15" Macbook Pro with the following specs:

2.53GHZ i5
4GB DDR3 Ram
750GB HDD
Glossy 1440x900
Under warranty until December 2011

It's in excellent condition with 2 very minor dents probably the size of a period.

What would be a good asking price for it?

I really use my Macbook Pro for gaming, Lightroom photo editing, Photoshop and surfing. I'm considering selling my Macbook Pro and buying a Macbook Air and then building a fast desktop computer. (I already have a 24") monitor. Would I be able to get $1500 do you think? Thanks
