Hi All, I was wondering if any of the resellers ever have upgraded machines? I've noticed a few resellers with really good deals on the new MBA but all for the 8G model. I wanted to get a 16G model but it looks like I can only get that online at the apple store for full price. Do apple do custom builds for the upgrades hence the extortionate cost of the ram upgrade?
Is that just the reality of the situation?
I was flip flopping between the new MBA and the non touch bar macbook pro given they so similar in price but I've come down on the MBA side for slightly more portability, longer battery, newer keyboard design and the touch id. Just a shame the chip isnt a bit punchier but I've made my piece with that
I was hoping they update the non touchbar models but they'l probably just let them die off.
