Reserve and pick up your ipad 2 from your local apple store

Do you pay for it when you order or is it just when you pick it up?

I don't think apple stores are letting you reserve them yet. That's how I got my ipad1 I called be us closest apple store is an hour from me. I called them had to give them my email then they email you when it's in then you have I think 24 hours to pick it up no credit card required to reserve

at least here in italy, you can* and the webpage says explicitly that you'll pay when you pick it up at the apple store

*not reserve as in order one, but reserve the leftovers at the end of the day

This is how I got mine in the UK and they started the system on Monday evening here

I wish, as of yesterday I only managed to see a couple of 64gb avaible, and thats just too big (expensive) for me. Guess I'll keep refreshing every night

every place I try says unavailable...i think the link goes to the site but apple wont let you reserve

afaik that page is updated after the store closes (9 pm says here) then if they have any ipad 2 left those will show up as available for reservation

Though at this rate, I might as well just wait for my April 21st ship date, but if I can grab one a little bit earlier, that would be awesome!
