Reserved in Store

Anyone have any past experiences with how this works? This morning around 6:30am EST I was able to reserve my copy online to pick up in store, but I work from 8am to 3pm. Is this a BS type deal, they have my name and apple id after all. Or will I be able to pick it up when I get out of work? Any past experiences with it?

Every store seems to handle it a little different.

The email says they will hold the phone until close, so you are probably be ok whenever you go.

It wouldn't hurt to call the store, and ask them how they will handle reserves/people not reserved.

My friend is a business consultant for it, but I won't be able to get a hold of him until later today if that. Right out of range of my trying to preorder still lol. I don't mind waiting in a line as long as I know the phone will be there for me. Was just wondering if someone else had prior experiences with "reserves being picked up in store".
