What would the benefit of me reserving the new Macbook Pro next year in store (via the app store on my iPod touch to collect the MBP in store) compared to deciding to buy it there and then?

Once you have reserved it, can you not backout of the purchase when you go in-store?

Also is it possible to reserve an anti-glare 15/17" as my Apple app store app doesn't seem to offer the anti-glare if I want to pick one up in store.

Thanks

what do you mean by "reserve"?

You can buy online and pick it up in store. That way, you can fully customize it, and you don't have to deal with any of the "specialists" or "geniuses."

I see. The app store app doesn't let me choose a 15/17" anti-glare Macbook Pro though?

What do you mean "the app store app"? You don't buy Mac computers through the App Store. You buy them either in an Apple store or from the online Apple Store.

He's referring to the Apple Store app. I've tried to select the anti glare option and it works perfectly fine via the app.
