i need some advice, since im quite new in the Iphone scene.
I just recently bought an Iphone (First Gen.) from ebay, which was a really nice deal. (about half of the usual price)
It was marked as faulty and the guy wrote quite a nice story, so it sounded like the whole thing was broken and would never work again.
Basically, he just flashed to 1.1.4 and after that, he couldn't make or accept any new calls.
Anything else works.
Further, the Iphone has been opened by a "professional"rolleyes,
to unlock it. (maybe hardware unlock, if something like that exists)
Well, my question;
I get the Phone tomorrow... hopefully.
If there is a way to get it back to... let's say "factory defaults", could you please tell me how?
Just some hints should be enough, since i should be able to figure out most stuff on my own after that.
The Phone itself should be a German Model, if that matters.
If you want to know why...
Well, i don't know what he did to that Phone, how he or his "professional" unlocked it or anything else.
I like my things/work clean and transparent.
So i'll just reset it, lock it again, if possible and start all over.
Thats all.
