How would I reset the internal clock in my new MacBook Pro? Im trying to set it back to default before reinstalling the OS so that system files can be created in weird dates. I think my G4 PB went back to April 1, 1976, which I think is pretty cool.:cool:

That's a new one... but to each his own, I guess.

Zap your PRAM. Hold down Command-Option-P-R at boot. Hold them down until the computer chimes 3-4 times. Then boot from your install CD.

hmm.. didn't seem to work. Im also unable to boot in open firmware. Any more ideas? Im about ready to give up.:confused:
 
how would I be able to change the date using terminal say to 01JAN69?
