Hi,

My daughter gave my wife her iPad Air 2 and I made a full reset in order to start over as a brand new machine. (iOS 10.2)

To my surprise, the Pages, Numbers and Keynote were not part of the apple applications (even though they were pre-loaded on the original iPad for free) and even the Calculator App is no longer there.

How can I get the calculator back and how can I get the iWorks apps for free coz they are listing at $10 each

Thanks

Your help is much appreciated.

You need to sign in with the AppleID that was used to setup the iPad when you got it. After that, the apps should be listed under "purchased"

Purchases are linked to the Apple ID who did the purchase. Apple allows you to set up family sharing for these purposes so you can share amongst a small group of family members to not have to pay extra. Please read up on it on Apples website, the setup is explained in detail.
