reset terminal

[pcs are junk]

i dont know if this is in the right category but can someone tell me how to reset terminal, cuz every time i press the up arrow, it shows all my previous commands. thanks in advance!

I'm assuming you want to clear the history of all those commands?

At the terminal prompt type:

history -c
