I decided to upgrade my MBP.

How do I completely wipe off my personal data on the MBP? So I can sell it without any of my details on.

Do I just reinstall the OSX?

Either boot into recovery mode or boot from a USB drive with the OS X installer on there. Then when you're in the installer click Utilies in the Menu Bar, then Disk Utility. Then choose your Mac HD and erase as you normally would. You have several options. Do at least a zero out data but a 7-pass is better but will take longer.

Check out this video at around the 4 minute mark which shows you.
