Is there a way to reset the step count on a daily basis? Basically resetting it every morning to see how far i walked each day?

You mean manually? I ask because it resets at midnight every day.

I did not know that, Ive been at my desk all day and its showing i walked 1.1 miles and 2,700 steps. Thats way off, I thought that was for a couple days not since midnight. How accurate are these?

Did you put it on this morning or the first time you put it on today just now at your desk?

Also you should be shooting for a minimum of around 10,000 steps / 5 miles a day. 2700 for 'a couple days' is just above bed ridden.

You definitely haven't walked at all today since midnight?
Very minimal, from my house to garage, then parking lot to work. all together Id say 200' at most
