Resetting Macbook Pro

Hi,

How do you 'reset' a Macbook Pro back to original state - wiping installed programs and restoring to the same state as brand new?

I've got a few problems with certain software apps i cannot fully remove from the system, only had the machine 1 day, would just be easier to start again...

Put the Install disk that came with your Mac in the drive and boot from it
