Does resetting Safari delete all trace evidence of internet history, use, and downloads?
If not, how do I do it?
A friend who's nosy and also fairly knowledgeable (well much more than me anyway) is going to using my computer for a while, and I'd rather not have her know what's I've been looking.

From Safari help:
Resetting Safari clears the history, empties the cache, clears the Downloads window, and removes all cookies. It also removes any saved user names and passwords or other AutoFill data and clears Google search entries.

In addition, any open windows are closed and a new window opens. The new window has a new history for the Back and Forward buttons and the SnapBack buttons.

So, answer is yes.

You should not share your account with your friend. Give him his own account. Delete it when he is done.

Yeah I will create a new account now that you mention it thanks.
I also want to know because, well to tell the truth, I don't want lingering remnants of the porn faze I went through hiding somewhere obscure on the computer.
So resetting leaves no trace remaining, just to be sure?

Everything that your friend does will be isolated to his home directory. When you delete his account, everything that he will have done will be gone.
