Resize photos in the dates of iphoto's calendar?

I am making a calendar using iphoto 7.1.5.
Two years ago, I was able to make photos in the dates smaller so they wouldn't cover the entire date box. I can't seem to figure out how to do this again. Would someone please help refresh my memory?
