Resize window to full size not working

I used to be able to drag the Firefox window all the way down to the bottom under the dock without any glitch. But after the software update to 10.5.7 I can't drag the window all the way down, there is a few millimeters irritating glitch. Not sure if this is because of the software update or if I changed some option somewhere.
I have the dock at "automatically hide and show". Clicking the green button doesn't help.

How can I make the firefox window to true full size all the way down without any glitches?
