Resizing Desktop Icons?

This one is probably a no brainer - but I can't figure it out

How do I resize icons on my desktop

I have OS X 10.3.9 - perhaps its not supported here?

Very weird. I don't know why the slider wouldn't show up. Sorry I can't be of more help!

Yes, twistmac is right, command-j.
Make sure you're on the desktop when pressing it.
And yes it does work in Panther
