Resizing photos

New to Mac....

When I take a photo on my iPhone, it is later synchronized with iPhoto on my Mac (Leopard). I want to make a copy of this image and resize it to post it to my web site. The images are huge when taken with the iPhone. I would like to fit approximately 2-5 images on a web page.

This should be simple but I have not figured it out yet. I simply want to resize the photos and preferably be able to specify the size in pixels.

You can use Preview to do this. Open the images in Preview, then go to the "Tools" menu and "Adjust Size..."

In iPhoto, go to File -> Export after selecting the photos.
