Hi, got my first macbook last week and its great, so not use windows at all anymore, i bought a Displayport to VGA Adapter to connect the macbook to my TV so i could was DVDs, i had a bit trouble to get it work but it was perfect after some minutes, everything was great, i had 1360x768 res on my LCD TV and it could not me more perfect.

But after using windows for 10 years i turned off the macbook when i went to bed, and when i turned on the macbook the day after, the TV could only find 1024x768 res, and Monitor-Profile name is now VGA-Monitor Not Samsung as it was before, and it shows Resolution as high as 1920x1080 but nothing works, the biggest resolution that work is 1024x768 and lower, i really want to get the 1360x768 resolution back can any one help me?,

btw, Detect Monitor have been clicked a lot of times nothing happens,

Sorry for the bad english hope you all can understand:)

I was simply not able to get my Al Macbook to output 1366x768 to my Samsung, or any other resolution for that matter. I went with MDP--DVI-->HDMI, and now its beautiful at 1080 output.
