Hi!
I recently bought myself a Gigabyte M32UC 4k screen that I am using for gaming and productivity/work.
I connected it to my M1 Macbook air with a USB C to USB C 10gbps cable. The cable is advertised as 4k@60hz, but when I connect it I am able to choose 144hz. I checked the ufo test and it confirms 144hz. I dont really know what the resolution is because this new display settings menu is so confusing. So I am guessing its not really 4k, but some scaled down version?
My second question then would be what would be ideal setup for productivity? Looking at movies, some word/spreadsheet every now and then, emails etc. Would I be wise to go down to 60hz so I can get a better resolution?
Thanks!
