I hope I can explain my issue well enough here because my frequent Googling of the problem and a potential solution to it has gone unanswered so far.

I use my Mid 2007 MacBook (OSX 10.7) to do PowerPoint presentations (Office 2011) for my students (both OSX and Office updated). I hook it up to the classroom TV via the RCA video input on the TV with a DVI Port to RCA adapter. At that point, everything is perfectly fine. However, when I enter the slideshow mode in PP, the TV will go black and white and have an odd resolution. When I escape out, the color and resolution return to what it should be. As such, I am forced to do my PP presentations in the edit mode so that my students can actually see them properly.

To add to the mystery, of the 6 classrooms that have TVs, it has worked properly on one of them. I had the technology teacher at my school come in to try and adjust the settings on a second TV but he was unable to find a solution. I am not sure if the issue lies in the other 5 TVs or if in that one PP presentation that worked, I clicked a setting or something that made it show correctly and haven't done it on any other one since. Anyway, I would appreciate any tips or suggestions from those of you much more knowledgable than I.
