Resolution on external LCD

Hi everyone,

I have a strange problem concernig resolution on my LCD TV wich I connect to my MacBook via VGA cable. When I use a short VGA cable I can set a native resolution on the TV with no problem, and every thing works great.

The problem starts when I try to use a long (15m) VGA cabel. Then, my MacBook won't recognize the TV properly I have to use 1280x768 resolution. Is there any way to force native resolution of my TV (1368x768)?
