I have recently had the logic board in my MBP first gen replaced as it suffered from the terrible electric whining noise under the keyboard. My new problem is when waking from sleep. When opening the lid from closed, MBP decides to change the resolution back to 640x480. It happens most of the time, even when no programs are left 'running'. Any ideas? About to upgrade, and don't want to pass on a lemon to the missus.
