Hi, I asked Apple Support a few times but they don't know the answers. On the product page it states that the screen has a native resolutions of 3456x2234. It is a bit misleading because it includes the notch that cannot display anything. I know that the top part (the one where the menu bar and the notch are located) are extra part while whatever below (let's call Region B) maintains the same aspect ratio as the 2019 model. So, what is the resolutions that can be used to display things in Region B? Also, when 'Scale to fit' is activated, the number of displayable pixels on the horizontal axis is reduced. What is the displayable resolutions then?

16:10 ratio at 3456 wide would be 2160 high, so 74 pixels for the notch. That's .9669 of the original height. If the same reduction is used in the Scale to fit function, you'd get about 3341 pixels width.

Thanks. Given that the 16" 2019 MBP has 3072x1920 native resolutions, the 2021 MBP still have more visible pixels even if I use 'Scale to fit'.

Just curious, if I connect it to an external 4K display, without the 'Scale to fit' activated and under mirror mode, will I see blank notch on the external display as well? Will it depend on which method I use to hide the notch on the MBP screen?

No notch on external monitors no matter what you do. The notch is a lack of pixels. The software generally acts like it isn't there. You can put the cursor "behind" it, for example, and use menu items that run into it.
