Anyone else stuck on this screen? Im transfering the data from iphone to iphone, and stuck on activation screen for AT&T.

[UPDATE]: Restarting new iPhone resolved the issue.

this happened to me last year with my 11 pro max just put the sim card from your old phone in and everything should be fine

Restarting the new iphone fixed it, its now proceeding the remaining process

It took after I did the restart. I had to google how to restart an iPhone without a home button. Patience.

Annoying - doing it manually means I have to use a really old back up because the phone uses 14.1 instead of 14.2. I hope I don't lose a months worth of health data.

Just restart the new iphone you should be good

I am still having issues with clicking "Next" on the confirm your phone # screen. I did at one point get through it, but then I got the "it may take a few minutes..." screen like we are discussing, but then it sat on it for just over an hour. So I restarted the phone and I am back to square one with the Next button issue. Both the manual process and the process where you use your current iPhone to activate lead to the same issue.

Lol Apple or AT&T is botching this roll out. I'm in a thread on Twitter with multiple people saying the same thing. And yes, I've rebooted the new iPhone 12 Pro probably 20-30 times.

A few restarts got me through the initial jam but now I’m at the “transferring data” part and it’s stuck not even a quarter of the way with time remaining “estimating...”. Also it turned the WiFi off both the new phone and old, and the old phone is on 3G now? I have no idea what’s going on.

Seems like there are activation issues with all carriers. Dreading when mine arrives and go through the process. I have an appointment in a few hours (personal). If I get the phone prior, I'll probably wait until after my appointment.

I've finally got through the confirm the phone # screen and am now waiting for several "minutes" aka hours (probably) for it to activate. Second time I've gotten this far so I'll just wait for now.

I was stuck on verifying my phone number and got past it when I plugged it in to the wall. I was using wireless pucks and I am not sure if it coincidence but once I plugged into the wall with a cable I got past it. Then I got stuck on the activating screen and after about 10 minutes I rebooted and it went through to the next steps. I checked my Verizon account and phone is showing up fine. Transferring data from my X right now.

3 restarts did it for me, stuck on phone number confirmation, then on activation, then on connecting to old phone, after those 3 hard restarts, it’s syncing

I was stuck on the "Confirm your phone number" screen. Tapped next but nothing ever happened, even after mutliple restarts. Switching SIMs got me past that screen.

Now on "Setting up your Apple ID"...

I was stuck on the "Confirm your phone number" screen too. I ended up plugging it into my laptop and going to the iPhone in Finder. After clicking "Trust" it said activating and took me to an AT&T splash page. I entered my billing zip code and last four digits of the account holder's SSN and it worked straight away.

I was stuck on the activation for about 15-20 mins, and then just ejected the SIM card and pushed it back in and the activation completed immediately 🤷‍♂️

Ok I figured it out! You must connect your new iPhone 12 to a Mac, there was a phone “carrier” update for the phone. It took about 2 minutes to update the phone then it went to the zip code and last 4 of my ssn. So connect your phone to a mac!

Seriously?
