I am unable to get rid of this. Reboot does not help. Does not respond to touch or long press

Your not able to click on Get Help During…?

I got the same notification and just clicked on it and clicked through the screens that talks about emergency SOS and health info. Once that was done it went away.

That would be your new "Emergency SOS via Satellite" feature that has been in the news the last couple of days. It's just now available on your new iPhone 14.
I think if you click on that "Get help during an emergency" you will see how that feature can be used. And, that should clear the number flag.

I’ve clicked it 100x and it won’t open, go anywhere or do anything. Restarted and iOS UTD.

It's taking some time for the rollout, even in US/Canada.
Be patient. Give it a couple of days. Try to ignore the number flag for now.

Thanks very much for all of the suggestions. My feedback below:
- It is unresponsive to clicks on it
- I did click on "get help during an emergency" further down in settings and went through the satellite SOS test. Nada. still there and still unresponsive.
- Located in south central Indiana.

Well I’m back. And I’ve had no luck clearing this notification.
No one has ever faced a situation like this?
No suggestions on how to clear it?

I'm from Canada, and got exactly same notification. Cannot click it through.
I brought my phone (iPhone 14 Pro) to Apple Store this morning, and the genius bar staff wasn't able to solve it. They suggested me to just leave it there and expect Apple will have a new iOS update to fix this in the coming weeks.

Thank you very much. At least I now know that I’m not alone in the boat. And that it’s a recognized problem

You are definitely not alone.

The Genius Bar staff told me that they are expecting more people to report this issue and Apple will fix it.

That's super annoying.

Have you tried going to Emergency SOS, scroll to bottom, and go through the demo, and then see if the notification disappears?

Made an account here to say I’m in the exact same boat. iPhone 14 pro max with latest iOS. That red dot has been on my settings since Tuesday morning. Nothing I do will remove it.

OMG! Four threads on Apple's own site and NOTHING. You effing solved it! Thank you!
I swear their forums are useless. Will get like 457 results for theirs about an issue and they're all either:

Just the question with no answer from people who don't know how to Google.
The question with only results me too me too....
The question with useless answers from support

Here or Reddit I know I will get a solution eventually
