Got my M5 IPP today and set it up. It automatically joined my AppleCare One subscription but I still get the ‘Renew AppleCare Coverage’ badge and alert in Settings. If I touch it to dismiss, it says it is unable to connect. I’ve tried on WiFi and Cell and rebooted.

Anyone have ideas? I hate seeing that badge on my settings app.

Resolved. It must be a iPadOS 26.0.1 bug.

I removed it from my AppleCare One account, it then said it expired yesterday (I just got the iPad today!), I then added it again and this time the message went away.

Same here. Mine says it expired and I said to myself, what do you mean expired? I just got the darn thing.

The name of my new iPad Pro M5 was shown in the AppleCare One as an iPad Pro M4 with an icon of generic image. About 20 minutes after adding to AppleCare One it corrected itself to the correct name and showed the correct icon
