Hey, does anyone know how I could setup Mail (Snow Leopard) to automatically cause my replies to mail sent to one of my accounts (which I'm trying to phase out) to be sent from another account? I currently don't have the account I'm trying to phase out configured for SMTP, so the message sending fails (and I want to keep it that way), but I have to manually change the address the message is sent from each time I reply to a message someone sends me at that address. I'd love to have Mail automatically use the other account for the reply, but I don't know if that's even possible.

Any thoughts?

You can go into the preferences for mail, under accounts and the select the account you want to send from a different server, there is a drop down box towards the bottom of the preferences. You can change the server there.

Unfortunately, that doesn't allow me to send mail as that account. It just gives me a message saying that it can't send the message, and asks me to choose another server.
