Restart Issues after updates?

after the updates, i tried to restart my mbp and it gets as far as logging out and turning the monitor off...but then it just hangs and doesn't boot back up. i have to do a hard restart to get it to finish...then when it boots up it says it encounted an error and asks if i want to report.

anyone else getting this restart issue?

Sorry, I just tried a restart after doing updates and everything's working fine on my end, I'm on a MBP running 10.5.4

yeah, i'm on 10.5.4 as well.......hmmmmm? for some reason, restart just doesn't completely run through the process at all now. not cool
