Hey guys I recently got my early 2011 15" mbp back from apple care, having replaced the logic board for free due to the graphics card issue..they told me my battery also need replacing, for it to run properly, but i told them i'd get one third hand, because their price was horrendous. Any who, the machine seemed to work fine, and so I updated yosemite to el capitan public beta, and now to the latest update. So on both these el capitan updates, I am experiencing severe reboots, green vertical lined screen, or pink horizontal lined screen..when I connect my 1080p optima hd200x projector with now two different thunderbolt to cdmi adapters (third party, one newly bought to check if that was the problem creator) - and the image would turn up fine, but randomly and now usually within a short amount of time, will start to skew the image and split it up into two, or show green "snow", stuff like that. Weird thing is, usually it'll boot up fine into the "home screen", showing both wallpapers on the 15" and projector, then once it's finally fully booted into the finder etc. it'll either immediately, or after a short amount of use, start acting up...I've tried finding a cause in the port out, in the cable, in the hinge to the screen etc. and not found a specific reason for the issue yet. So I dunno if it's got to do with the OS X, if I need to bring it back and have them install yet another logic board? or what..I should mention that I put in an optibay, where in I put the 1 year old 1tb hdd, and then a brand ned 500gb samsung evo 850 in the main hdd bay (which reports no problems, but I have not installed /cloned the OS X over yet, so it boots up on the 1tb still, from the optibay "port"). Now I don't assume that switch has anything to do with my problem....Anyone have advice?
