Hi, just wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to restore my old 64gb ipod touch backup on a new 32gb Ipod Touch?

I really just want my basic apps, notes and contacts as my old Ipod died..

Can I just choose to not sync movies and music which brings restore down in size??

Thankyou, hope you can help.

yes

as long as you don't have 64 GB of apps and app data you should be fine. itunes will restore your app data first, then you choose what apps, songs, movies to restore.

Correct, it won't sync if more then 32gb is used from the backup :)
