Ok so Ive had some battery drain issues and wanted to try a restore as new option. I dont mind losing my apps and music since all of that is in my itunes but I dont want to lose all my contacts/pictures etc. Is there anyway to save this stuff somewhere to be quickly put back onto my newly restored iPhone?

Thanks!

Okay, contacts and photos automatically sync on a mac - but not PC. Plug your iPhone in, go to "My Computer" and explore it. Copy all of your photos out into another folder. The easiest way to manage your contacts would be through Google Sync.

Thats why I love MobileMe, whenever I've had to swap my phone in the past I never had to wait to get home for my contacts/favorites to pop back up. If you're looking for a quick fix, try the 30 day trial of mobileme, contact syncing is super fast and easy

yeah I actually found out that I cant just click sync to windows address book in itunes and in a second it was all there. Its not very fancy but it did the trick!
