Restore as new phone help!

Ok so Ive had some battery drain issues and wanted to try a restore as new option. I dont mind losing my apps and music since all of that is in my itunes but I dont want to lose all my contacts/pictures etc. Is there anyway to save this stuff somewhere to be quickly put back onto my newly restored iPhone?

As far as I know, yes.

Okay, contacts and photos automatically sync on a mac - but not PC. Plug your iPhone in, go to "My Computer" and explore it. Copy all of your photos out into another folder. The easiest way to manage your contacts would be through Google Sync.

For contacts:

or if you use gmail (or hotmail), you can sync wirelessly and automatically your contacts from google to the iPhone and viceversa by telling it to sync contacts in the exchange options in your gmail account in your iPhone. THis is considering you have a gmail account setup as an exchange account on your iPhone, the same is done w/ the contacts.

yeah I actually found out that I cant just click sync to windows address book in itunes and in a second it was all there. Its not very fancy but it did the trick!
