Just did a restore from iCloud backup. Watch works without issue, however, calendar complication does not sync (??)

When I update a calendar event on iPhone, it syncs via iCloud without issue to my Calendar app on Mac. I can update on Mac and syncs to phone without issues. When I go into the calendar app on AW, event shows up. However, on the Calendar Complication it does not sync!

I have removed the complication and re-added. This is on the "Simple" Apple Watch face with "Your Schedule" complication. Even if I change watch faces, for example to World Time, with Your Schedule as one of the complications, it does not refresh!

I have to click on the complication itself, it will open the calendar app, then it will refresh.

Can anyone help please?

I have also unsync, resync iCloud calendar on th ephone. There is no lag between the phone and the mac.
It's between the phone and the watch. unpaired re-paird the watch. also deleted watch face and setup a new one. Issue is not just on "Simple" watch face but also with "World Time" and others using the calendar complication "Your Schedule".

I do not see any issues with other complications. Ideas?

so you restored your iPhone from iCloud backup? reset iPhone? new iPhone? and the watch paired no issues? OS versions?

or did you un-pair the watch and re-pair it? but that cannot be from an iCloud backup as watch only backup to the iPhone.

sometimes these backups get corrupted, you could un-pair/re-par the watch and set it up as new, not restore from backup

happened on iphone 15, ios 18 latest. Now happens on iphone 17, ios 26.
yes, repaired watch both times. I haven't setup from new as this is very time consuming and I not sure if that will even fix the problem
