We're migrating our server and I'm needing to restore our main file storage drive. It was cloned using SuperDuper, which worked pretty well and had an option to retain ACLs. This is very important!

So I was trying SuperDuper to restore these files to our new server storage drive, and while it was working fine, it just seemed pretty slow (about 20MB/s transfer over eSATA). I'm sure it's doing a lot of verifying/checking, etc., which slows the process.

Are there any faster methods to do a straight copy of files only (no OS items, users, etc.) to a new empty drive while retaining all permissions & ACLs? Command line even?

THANKS!
