Alright. So last week was the last time I restored an iPhone to a Sn0wbreeze FW 4.1. I have my "hosts" file edited and everything and have been able to do downgrades from 4.2.1 to 4.1 on any 3GS I had until yesterday when I purchased an iPhone 3GS on 4.2.1 and wanted to restore it to my Sn0wbreeze 4.1 and kept getting a 3194 error.

Has Apple created a fix so that we can't use the "hosts" trick anymore? Has the Cydia server's IP address changed? I'd really like some input.

Set everything to default in tinyumbrella, then try again.

You will get an error message, then click "kick out of recovery."

I know of TinyUmbrella but not completely aware of how it applies to this situation. Could you please explain?
