Restore files in Trash to their original directories?

my imac is running LEOPARD. just now, I accidentally moved all the .rar files in my entire HDDs to Trash.
BUT I HAVEN'T EMPTY THE TRASH. So the files are in the trash now.

Just wonder if there is a way to restore them to their original directories, so that i don't need to move them individually(some of them i have no idea where they were), just like windows does.

Using Time Machine would probably be the easiest way. OS X doesn't do this like Windows does.
