Seen a few threads on here with people having bricked macs when they have tried to do a restore. I have never used internet recovery, I’ve always downloaded the latest os from the AppStore on that mac and then created a bootable usb. Then held alt at boot and formatted in disk utility and installed that way. Is that way still working?
