I backed up my files on my computer. When I choose the restore option in itunes it doesn't list that backup as an option to use to restore.
Then I alt+clicked the restore button to browse to find the file, but when I navigate to the folder of the backup I need it's all grayed out even though all the backup files are there that I need. Is there anyway to get to these?
I really just want the old address book back. My DH has a pc unfortunately and I have a mac. For some reason when I upgraded to ios4 for him on his junk pc it overwrote all of his old backups and he didn't have his contacts saved correctly on his computer. However, they're on my mac because when we first got his phone we synced it with my computer, but I just don't know how to get them from the backup or how to have itunes read the backup.
