I did a restore from the iCloud before and everything including pictures were returned to the previous back up(the night before).

I restored by iPhone 4 last night because my LED Flash was not working because it was my last idea and everything was returned to normal EXCEPT...

MY PICTURES WERE NOT RESTORED!

If I go to the iCloud backup settings it says 32.2MB for Camera app is being backed up... but I'm getting no pictures back after 3 restores and from 2 different back ups.

Any ideas?
Does this make sense?

Thanks

I've only restored from iCloud one time. It did the same to me... My pics eventually came back though. I was wiggin' out and all of a sudden they showed up?

I found the cure.

When I reset my phone, I hit Reset all settings and not Erase all content and settings... now its downloading everything again... app, photos, etc.

Although, it still doesn't make much sense that my photos wouldn't be restored regardless. But, I'm happy.

Perhaps the greatest technical advice ever given...

If something doesn't work, just start wiggin' out for a bit -- Problem Solved!

i've found that the pictures/camera can be quite buggy. I just moved into a new built house and had it rain heavy for the first time last month. I took some pictures of the small "river" flowing through our backyard (by design so we don't flood the basement!)

the next morning the pictures were gone. about 3 weeks later they just randomly showed up. i don't have pictures synced to icloud, but i do use the icloud backup which backs it up every night.

they've still got some work to do with this icloud thing.

oh yah they can fix iMessage too while they're at it! :p
