I have run into load of problems with Lion so i want to go back to snow leopard.
How can i Restore from a Snow Leopard TimeMachine BackUp in Lion without Snow Leopard disk?

Boot your PC up while holding the "option" key. Select the recovery partition. Once the recovery partition boots, select time machine, then restore.

Should I connect the external HDD after booting to recovery partition or as i turn in the computer? does it make a difference :p
