Will restoring from a Time Machine backup via Migration Assistant preserve star ratings and smart playlists from iTunes on the new computer? Also, what is the purpose of the "system" files that are many more GB than the actual data I am looking to transfer? When I click a subset of transfer files, the Migration Assistant requires the transfer of the system files as well. This seems to reference many unrelated applications? Thanks in advance.
