hey guys,

i just turned off my JB phone 4s with 5.0.1, and it is stuck on the apple logo screen upon turning it back on... is there any way to fix it without losing my jailbreak? i really REALLY don't want to lost it because i need a few of the functions it allows me to perform... please help!!!

thanks everyone

You can't restore and still have a jailbreak. You must rejailbreak your iPhone after you restore.

thanks a lot guys!

btw omega, they typically release the JB for the latest version of iOS right? and as a side note, would you happen to know what is so difficult about releasing JB's for a5 devices? it seems like the a4 devices get JB's almost immediately after every update, but the a5's take forever...

thanks again!

Yes, the upcoming jailbreak is for 5.1.1.

And it's not neccessarily difficult to jailbreak an a4 or a5 device after an OS update. The hackers can do that pretty quickly. it's finding the exploits to make the jailbreak untethered and easy to use by all, that takes time.

You can restore to 5.0.1 with the latest redsnow.

Itll do it by itself without iTunes.
